    One of the cooler gadgets I have seen

    Microsoft has announced a tabletop computer that provides digital content almost effortlessly. Users can share digital information using gestures. The video on the site shows some common uses for Surface. A user places a camera on the table and their pictures appear scattered. Their friend can then place their device on the table and drag the pictures to their device for storage. I can envision Surface would be perfect for casual game space also. It will be exciting to watch this technology and see where it goes!     Microsoft PC Design contest winners

    From the look of the gallery, you would never guess this is a contest for new design for pcs. But on the other hand it’s nice to see some innovative ideas. And they definitely are futuristic looking. The winners were announced at a 2007 Windows Hardware Engineering contest. Microsoft received 349 entries, 34 of which were choosen as finalists.     ITunes now offers a DRM free version

    Apple has announced iTunes Plus which offers higher quality, DRM free music. It’s only $.30 more a song, in exchange for never having to worry about how many times you transfer the song. You can download iTunes 7 here. One thing to note is it is only available for EMI songs.

    It’s going to be an all out brawl!

    That’s right. Today Nintendo sent me the official Super Smash Brothers Brawl site. There isn’t much there but Check it out Anyway there was something about this minimally bare site that caught my eye and it was it’s music page. You know when there is music that means there is a stage which can ultimately lead to characters. Aside from the normal game music you’d find in the game (Super Mario, Star Fox, Metroid, Zelda, Fire Emblem, Pokemon, etc.) there were a few curious names that were dropped too that got me wondering about some of the characters. Among the titles of game music I found Animal Crossing, NiGHTS, Kingdom Hearts, Chrono Trigger, God Hand, Killer 7, Devil May Cry, and Meteos interesting among others.
