Fashion Solitaire

By: Cherith

Fashion Solitaire by Large Animal games and Lifetime sounds like a ‘girl game’, right? Well, I’ll admit, they’re definitely catering to women. And sure, it’s sort of about fashion, but it’s also a lot of fun.

The game is set up sort of like solitaire – you have a pile of cards (in this case the cards have different fashion items like shirts, pants, shoes…) and you can’t get to the cards underneath until you figure out how to use the ones on top. The idea is to dress models using the cards, completing full outfits for a certain number of models in each challenge. And the different levels are challenging – the first few levels seem like a breeze, but soon enough the amount of available cards on the top levels shrinks down, and it’s tricky to sort them and use them in a way that gets the models into outfits, and your card count down.

Ultimately yes, you’re creating outfits for models, and you can handpick the outfits you like to create fashion shows at the end of each challenge. But, the challenge of the game, the strategy takes real effort, which I’ll admit I didn’t expect.

You can check out the game at the Large Animal website here
