Congratulations to The Game Factory for winning the 2009 Parents’ Choice Silver Award! The Game Factory has won the 2009 Parents’ Choice Silver Award for Rubik’s World for the Wii. The Parents’ Choice Foundation provides parents with information and recommendations for products to encourage children to learn and grow imaginatively, physically, morally and mentally. Sorry! is available on XBLA starting today

I heart Sorry! It’s one of my favorite board games. When I downloaded the initial set of Hasbro Games, I was sad to see that it wasn’t available, but I will be playing it later today because Sorry! is now available for you to download on XBLA. Yep the Hasbro Family Game Night adds one more classic board game to the mix. The XBLA version adds a “Bonus Cards” mode which should add some interesting play to the classic game. Sorry! is 800 MS Points and available now! Follow

    Charge your Wii Remotes easily

This may just be the greatest invention ever. Energizer has created the Energizer Induction Charge System that allows you to charge up to two Wii Remotes. You won’t even have to remove the sleeves, Wii Motion Plus or lanyards to charge. Basically drop the Wii remote into the cradle and you are done. “Our goal is to provide gamers with fun and easy-to-use technology that enhances their gaming experience,” said John Moore, Senior Vice President of Marketing for California-based PDP. “The Energizer Induction Charge System makes it so you don’t have to ‘undress’ your Wii remote any more, reducing the frustration to gamers.” The Power & Play line from Energizer is a rechargeable battery brand that can power game controllers. Definitely sounds like something I have to look into for Xbox 360 controllers. The Energizer Induction Charge System will be available on May 11 2009, for $49.99. Follow

Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth trailer

Capcom basically puked a ton of information and trailers last night from their Captivate 09 event. So I’ll be posting a bit of information and a trailer about all the games. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth takes Ace Attorney from the courtroom to the crime scene. The rival of Phoenix Wright will be investigating crime scenes to get to the truth. There are several episodes in the title. The first episode is a murder in Edgeworth’s office. Probably looks bad for him. Second episode he finds a corpse on an airline. The description says several lengthy episodes so these are probably just an example. The cases add up to over 15 hours of gameplay. Ace Attorney Investigations: Miles Edgeworth is due out this winter on the Nintendo DS. [gtrailer]48591[/gtrailer] Follow

    Dark Void trailer and info

We had a demo of Dark Void during CES this year and loved it. I can only imagine that with time developer, Airtight Studios will make it even better. The trailer shows what fighting in the air is like. Something that I think will make me sick. For some background, Dark Void is a sci-fi action-adventure game that uses aerial and ground combat. The universe is called, “The Void”, and you take on the role of Will. We may not have jetpack-boosters in real life yet, but Will uses his to do aerial dog fighting and to get from one place to another to stomp some bad guys. The title still has no date announced yet, but hopefully we’ll hear soon. If you get motion sick easily…you may want to skip the trailer. [gtrailer]48564[/gtrailer] Follow

    Marvel vs. Capcom 2

I believe many fans have been waiting for this for a long time. This Summer (2009) fans will be excited to hear that they will be able to download from Playstation Network and Xbox Live Arcade, Marvel vs Capcom 2. The game features the biggest roster of challengers to square off in a Capcom fighting game. The total number of brawlers is 56 from both Capcom and Marvel universes. The controls are a simplified version of the six button system from Street Fighter IV, opting for a four-button control scheme for action and two “assist” buttons that pull in other team members for support. While not new, this title is extremely hard to find. I remember trying to find a copy for my brother. It was difficult to say the least. When I did find a copy, the guy challenged me to a match on the spot, cause he couldn’t

Because I know how much you love Zombies…Dead Rising 2

Dead Rising 2 was announced during Capcom’s Captivate 09 event. Maybe we’ll get to attend next year! The game still does not have a release date but is coming to the Xbox 360, PS3, and PC. Dead Rising 2 is moving to Fortune City, where people go to escape reality and win big. Chuck Greene is a former national Motocross champion and your main guy in Dead Rising 2. The game promises tons of zombies on the screen at one time. I heard in an interview that it’s almost ridiculous how many are on the screen at once, but that’s part of the zombie killing fun. Chuck will be forced to enter the mall to create weapons to fend off the hordes. Enjoy the trailer. [gtrailer]48568[/gtrailer] Follow
