    SCOTT PILGRIM THE MOVIE WEBSITE GOES LIVE!

    Fans of the Oni Press series SCOTT PILGRIM by Bryan Lee O’Malley will be happy to know that the film adaptation is now in full swing, and the official SCOTT PILGRIM VS THE WORLD movie website is live now. The site, www.scottpilgrimthemovie.com, launched with a video blog featuring director Edgar Wright on the set and training with the cast. The filmmaker has promised to encompass the entirety of the New York Times Best Selling Graphic Novel series into the movie and fans are keen to get a sneak peek at the production process.

    The Artists of Emerald City ComiCon ’09

    Every ComiCon offers me the opportunity to meet some of the artists and writers that are responsible for my favorite comic books. This year’s Emerald City ComiCon (ECCC) was no exception to this rule. This two-day Con brought me Mike Choi, Ben Templesmith, Josh Ortega, Brian Michael Bendis, Mark Brooks, Ed Brubaker, Frank Cho, Kevin Cross and Matt Fraction, just to name a few. I am proud to say I kept my fangirlism to a minimum and made real conversations without geeking out to the max. But within all the known names, there are always those indie artists that call to me. Although ECCC has almost triple its size from last year, the show still offers a somewhat intimate atmosphere to stroll artist alley and discovery new artists.
