    NARUTO English Dubbed Available on Joost and Hulu beginning on April 15th!

    VIZ Media rakes in Eisner Award Nominations for 2009!

    Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. Announces the Return of the Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME SHONEN JUMP Championships; Premiere Event is scheduled for Anaheim’s Convention Center April 25-26

    A new day is dawning in competitive Yu-Gi-Oh! TRADING CARD GAME (TCG) play. Konami Digital Entertainment, Inc. (KDE) is unveiling today their plans to bring back the SHONEN JUMP Championships, the largest and most prestigious Yu-Gi-Oh! TCG tournament series in North America. Adding a level of mystery to the event, a new Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D’s SHONEN JUMP Championship prize card will be revealed for the first time. KDE’s SHONEN JUMP Championship series will begin April 25-26 in the “Big A” (Anaheim, CA) at the Anaheim Convention Center.     Wii-mote gets an attachment that makes it more sensitive

    Nintendo has released an attachment for your Wii-mote that will make it more sensitive. The new Wii MotionPlus accessory will be in stores on June 8 and should help with precision and performance. Nintendo is also launching Wii Sports Resort on July 26 to show how the Wii MotionPlus adds to the game. If you purchase Wii Sports Resort you get a single Wii MotionPlus accessory. The press release does mention that when it’s used with specially designed games, Wii MotionPlus tracks your movement in finer detail. Which may mean that the Wii MotionPlus will not automatically make a difference with older games. “Wii MotionPlus represents a new evolution in video game control.     Konami raises the undead with Zombie Apocalypse

    Konami has announced a new zombie game that will be available on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network this summer. Zombie Apocalypse is a four player game that has you trying to fight the undead. There are tons of weapons and a unique one is a teddy bear filled with C4 explosives. There is also a chainsaw that you can melee the Zombies with. Players will be able to play together offline or online multiplayer. The arcade style shooter is based on 55 days across seven environments. IF you fail, you become the undead. If you complete the game, Konami is already letting us know that there are seven unlockable game modes. No word on pricing or exact date yet.

    Stealthyslyth plays around in ArtRage 2

    I’m a bit of an artist, but my photoshopping tends to only go so far as to alter my photography a bit. However in the past I have used graphics programs to draw my own artwork or fanart. So when I was able to get a copy of ArtRage by Ambient Design to write a review on I was quite excited to bust out my artistic skills. I first saw ArtRage demonstrated at New York Comic Con, and was impressed with how clean of an interface and how easy it was to switch between brushes and tools. Playing around with ArtRage on my own it is definitely a great program for someone who is just getting into computer graphics on a more serious level. There are some great options with brushes such as the standard brush, to more interesting tools like a roller, glitter, chalk, crayon, marker, and tube paint.

    Patapon 2 to be digital-only for release in US

    SCEA has confirmed the rumor from Arstechnia that Patapon 2 will be a digital-only release in America. This means if you buy the game’s box at a retail store, you’re going to get a case and a download voucher. “We’re considering a digital-only format for the Patapon 2 release as a one time test case as we continue to explore consumer preferences for digital content,” SCEA comms boss Patrick Seybold said in a statement. “The downloadable game will be available on May 5th at both retail and via the PlayStation Store. We remain focused on providing superior games and entertainment experiences in both the UMD and digital formats and are working closely with our partners to deliver the best PSP line up in our history.”
