Golden Eye Designer would love for you to play the game on Virtual Console

I know some fans that firmly believe Golden Eye will never see the light of day on Virtual Console. While the hopefully think it will be announced at a future E3. Designer Martin Hollis wishes that one day you could play the game on Virtual Console, but doesn’t see that happening any time soon. In an interview with Official Nintendo Magazine, he said, “There’s always someone with some exclusivity agreement, so there’s lots of lawyers,” he said. “I’m not going to hold my breath. I’d love it to happen, but I can’t see it.” Follow

Long Beach getting it’s own Comic Con

The other Comic Con is getting harder to attend every year. MAD Event Management got smart and decided to create a Comic Con closer. Long Beach Comic Con will be held October 2-4, 2009 at the Long Beach Convention Center in downtown Long Beach. It’s a great convention center that will host comic book talent, publishers, gaming companies and have fun programming. Marvel has already promised to support the conventions with a limited edition book for people that pre-order. Lionsgate Films will be exhibiting on the show floor too. “The facility and staff at the LBCC are awesome, and the fans in the area that I had the privilege to meet at previous comic cons left a strong impression on me as well as on the guests and exhibitors. We’re excited to be coming back in October,” said event planner Martha Donato, President of MAD Event Management. To stay on

    Cherith’s BIGOmaha Experience

This past Thursday and Friday, I had the privilege of attending the first ever BIG Omaha conference in Omaha, Nebraska. Short coverage? It was awesome. It was what more conferences should be. I left Friday evening to head home with a head full of knowledge and ideas from the speakers I heard throughout the day. BIGOmaha started Thursday evening with a few mixer/party events where people could meet with friends, or strangers and get talking. I even managed to run into several people I met just a few short weeks ago at Start Up Weekend here in Kansas City. Friday morning people were up early for the small breakfast provided by BIGOmaha and it seemed everyone was anxious to get things rolling as people started staking out good seats early. The day officially started as Dusty and Jeff of Silicon Prairie News (the guys who put the event together) introduced

The entire 8.5 hours are narrated by Zachary, who also voices all of the characters. This adaptation also includes events that are not shown in the movie. Kojima set to reveal something on May 18

An ad in Famitsu teases a May 18th reveal for Kojima’s next game. If you look at the scene you have something in the clouds, long grass and a hidden house. Sets a very dark scene huh? You can go to 1up where they have done a deep analysis of the picture. Follow

Building a new MMO is “overwhelming process”

Blizzard is working on an entirely new and secret MMO that the company describes as “overwhelming process”. “We have nothing to advertise for the new MMO because it’s a shell of a game thus far,” said a blue poster on the official WoW forums. “We’ve already stated it’ll be a brand new franchise, which means the lore, art, and game play are being developed entirely from scratch. “It’s an overwhelming process, but a process through which we excel. Our track record supports this.” But don’t think the early words on the MMO will mean you will see it at BlizzCon this year. “Games take years to develop from concept to release,” the poster added. “Diablo III was in the works for years before being announced. StarCraft II was announced two years ago and isn’t even in beta yet.” Follow
