    Logitech Announces Wireless Guitar Controller for PS3

    Logitech has announced a new wireless guitar controller for the PS3 and PS2. The new guitar incorporates the same responsive quiet design of the Premiere Edition guitar with a new sleek black look. Logitech expects the new guitar to be available in the US later in may and available in Europe in June. Logitech also announced the Harmony Adapter for the PS3. The adapter will use an IR signal to transmit the signal from your Harmony remote to a Bluetooth signal to control the PS3. The Harmony Adapter will be available in North America within the next few weeks and is expected to retail for $59.99. It is expected to be available in Australia any day.

    Simon & Schuster has made learning Klingon even easier by releasing a full suite of applications for your iPhone or iPod Touch that incorporate three of their books: The Klingon Dictionary, Conversational Klingon, and the Klingon Phrasebook. The recorded tutorials of Conversational Klingon are presented by actor Michael Dorn, who portrayed Worf on several of the Star Trek TV series, and feature author Dr. Marc Okrand, creator of the Klingon language.     Atari is now an US-only brand

    Atari is officially out of Europe with Distribution Partners (Namco Bandai Partners) handling all the Atari titles in the region. Exec, John Galloway will be heading up the new operation. “We believe that DP will become a wholly-owned Namco Bandai games company soon, but this process requires time and we will comment further when we have an anticipated closing date,” said Atari’s European marketing boss David Miller this week.” Atari will continue to operate as a brand in the US.

    Spielberg already talking about sequel to Bash Party

    Boom Blox Bash Party is not even released yet and Steven Spielberg is already talking about a third title in interviews. “You can become a creator at home,” the media giant told Reuters. “You can become a participant and you can become an activist. It’s a really wonderful way to empower players to share their ideas with the world and give us better ideas for our own future of the next iteration beyond Bash Party.” Steven Spielberg seems to be enjoying the reaction to the game and thinks it has helped his kids get off the sofa. “It’s been very, very good for a parent like me who wants our kids not to be couch potatoes, but to get up and move their bodies around more,” added Spielberg. Bash Party ships next week for the Wii. We’ll have impressions up over the weekend.

    McDonald’s says there is no “F” word in happy meals

    McDonald’s is having to respond to a slew of parents’ complaints that a CD included in their kid’s Happy Meal has an inappropriate word. Parents insist that in the song you can here the …”f-word”. McDonald’s says, “We are excited about the energy the Kidz Bop brand brings to Happy Meals during this promotional period with songs “sung by kids for kids.” McDonald’s also states that Happy Meal “would never include a lyric, word, or song that is inappropriate to children of any age.” If you want to judge for yourself, you can listen here, but some people can find it offensive if you hear it. I know this song myself, and I don’t think he says the f-word in the song. But when I listen to that clip, it sure sounds like he is. [source Dallas 21]
