Stealthyslyth explores some of the Addon options for World of Warcraft

It has become apparent to me that Gaming Angels is in desperate need of a WoW correspondent. I have decided to fill that void with my exponential experience with WoW. For those of you who are wary, do not fret, for I am not your Make Love Not Warcraft gamer, but rather your friendly (and totally awesome) guide to all things WoW. I’ll be covering big events and news stories involving WoW and Blizzard while giving you need to know and fun tips for the experienced and novice alike. Not too long after I first started playing World of Warcraft, I began to delve into the world of WoW addons. I looked into the useful as well as the more fun kind, learned about alternatives to addons that take up a lot of memory, and realized how much easier some addons make certain aspects of the game. I’ve since settled

Fight Night Round 4 will be more accessible & new Screens

EA’s Dean Richards, the executive producer on Fight Night Round 4, told VG247 in an interview that they worked hard on making Fight Night 4 more accessible to all gamers. “The accessibility part was a big to us,” said Richards. “So we want to make it so regardless if you’re just a boxing fan or a gamer that you immediately can get in the ring and start throwing punches and get that feel for the game right away. “The problem with Round 3 was, that you’d have to finish your punch before you could throw the next one. It wasn’t really as responsive as you’d think it is. “So the first thing we wanted to do was attack that with speed,” he went on. “First of all it was at 30 frames per second now it’s at 60 frames per second which obviously adds a tremendous amount of fidelity in

UK Sales Charts for last week

Every Monday morning we report the best selling games for the previous week in the UK. Why not in the US as well? Well I have no idea where I can find that data other than NPD’s at the end of the month. The information is from ChartTrack where they have many different ways you can organize the data to see which games are selling well in the UK. Wii Fit claimed another week on the top of the charts. Wii Fit has been at number 1 on the chart for 7 straight weeks! FIFA 09 moves up one spot while X-Men Origins slides spot down. Call of Duty: World at War as well as Call of Duty Modern Warfare both see a bump. Could this be because of the news of something being announced at E3? Nintendo is the top publisher for the top 20 again with 6 games

New LEGO Stars Wars advergame announced

Three Melons is teaming up with the LEGO Group to create a advergame based on Lucas Arts’ Clone Wars Chronicles. Personally I’ve never seen the Clone Wars, but I have it on Blu-Ray from Netflix to check out. The game starts when you get a distress call from R2-D2 who has found the blueprints to a new weapon. It’s a race to get to R2 to make sure you get it before the Separatists. “Making a game for the LEGO Star Wars franchise is not an easy task” said Sten Lysdahl, Internet Content Manager at the LEGO Group and added, “Even though it is not a video game, expectations are still very high. Online advergames are an important part of our online strategy and we are very pleased with the work done by our continuous partner, Three Melons, in this project. To be honest the result is amazing and we
