    HydroTilt XL Available With Level Editor

    Publisher X has released an expansion of HydroTilt XL with a level editor. This will allow players to create their own playable levels and share with other from within the game. “Fans of HydroTilt have been asking for a level editor since we first launched the game,” said Mel Kirk, Director of Marketing for Publisher X. “With the XL expansion pack, we build on the original game and provide gamers with the ability to design and share their unique creations resulting in several hours of extra game play for everyone.     Coming Soon: X-Men Origins: Wolverine The Game – Feral Sense

    X-Men Origins: Wolverine The Game – Feral Sense is coming soon to iPhone! This app will allow players to hunt for and capture photos of various icons in order to unlock exclusive Wolverine content. When players find an icon, they’ll use the “Feral Sense” mode to photograph the icon to compare it to a ghost image on their phones. When the icons match up, content is “Uncaged” on the iPhone for immediately. Feral Sense will be the first time photo recognition technology has been used in the video game industry and will reward players with 3D screens and high-def trailers.     Green Lantern interview with Juliet Landau

    DC Universe Animated Movies is doing a series of interviews with voice actors in Green Lantern: First Flight. The DVD is available July 28th for Blu-Ray and DVD. Juliet Landau has appeared on Buffy and Angel previously and now plays Labella, a mistress on the darker side of things in the Green Lantern Corps. QUESTION: Tell us about Labella? JULIET LANDAU: There was a lot of room for invention in this character, especially with the device they use with her. I don’t want to give it away, but she does go through a bit of torture and it causes a rift between Sinestro and Hal. I really liked the sexuality and the flirtatiousness of the character. She’s very different from any of the characters I’ve voiced on Justice League Unlimited or Ben 10: Alien Force – she’s a completely unique character.     AT&T’s expansion of Services

    AT&T is jumping on the technology wave, in two distinct ways. One way is through the offering a variation on the data packages needed for smart phones and the other is through the distribution of netbooks. One of the biggest problems for many smartphone users is the expense that the required data packages are for many of these phone to achieve their full potential. According to AT&T’s press release, the company is considering to offer cheaper data service plans with a limited web surfing. Currently AT&T’s unlimited plan is running users an average 70 dollars US a month, but what “AT&T could offer more limited Web surfing on cellphones for a lower fee, similar to its trial offer of 200 megabytes of data downloads for wireless netbook users for $40 a month in Atlanta and in Philadelphia.” All of this was announced by Ralph de la Vega, the head of

    Resistance 2 gets its own space in Home

    SCEA has announced that coming tomorrow, May 21, is a new area to Playstation Home. The Resistance dedicated Home space will feature a turret-style FPS mini-game, reward items, leaderboards and full game launching support. Higher the score in the game, the more virtual goods you will unlock. Tomorrow, Community Managers will be on site to play against and Insomniac folks will also be dropping in (hint: next Thursday from 5-6pm PT). The new area also launches Friday Resistance 2 nights from 6pm – 12am.

    Swine Flu keeps some studios from traveling to E3

    Swine Flu hasn’t made the news here in the US lately, but people overseas are still worried about it. The Japanese offices of Square Enix and Koei Studios will not be traveling to E3 in June. Completely due to fears of swine flu. Square Enix has canceled plans for it’s Kingdom Hearts team to attend the show and Koei has confirmed that a number of its Japanese employees will not be traveling to the convention center. Both companies will still have representation at E3 from it’s European and American staff. [source via Develop] Update Capcom has announced that Dead Rising 2 will not be shown at E3 this year due to swine flu concerns. No material on Dead Rising 2 will be at the show.

    Deadpool, the merc with a mouth, was announced today as part of the cast for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2. On the official Marvel Ultimate Alliance 2 site, the team talked about what it was like creating Deadpool. Katie Orcutt, Junior Animator We knew that Deadpool was a fan favorite, so we wanted to make sure his powers set the bar for being wicked cool and fun to play. We did a lot of research – reading his comics, looking up videos, and trying to determine what kind of fighter he is. Our main goal was to make him feel graceful and acrobatic, yet also very powerful. He’s pretty much a modern day ninja, so we had a lot of fun pushing the limits of what he could do.     Nobody walks in LA, but Nintendo is hoping to change that attitude and show that it’s fun to walk. Personal Trainer: Walking launches on May 26 and claims to make walking entertaining. The title creates charts and activities to reveal your “life rhythm” pattern. Basically to show at what points of the day people are most sedentary. “Whether you walk for pleasure or exercise, Personal Trainer: Walking will keep track of your movements and help you set goals for yourself,” said Cammie Dunaway, Nintendo of America’s executive vice president of Sales & Marketing. “Like Wii Sports and Wii Fit, Personal Trainer: Walking is about combining fun features and technology with physical activity.
