Wolfenstein 3d Classic for the iPhone/ iPod Touch Review

Platform: iPhone/ iPod Touch ESRB: 12+ Genre: FPS Number of Players: Single Publisher: Id Software Release Date: 3/23/2009 Official Website: http://www.idsoftware.com/wolfenstein3dclassic/ BUY I’ll admit it. My college nights were not spent studying. Instead, I spent way too much time with Wolfenstein 3d, pizza and beverages. So, when I found out that Id was releasing Wolfenstein 3d Classic for the iPod Touch/ iPhone, I jumped at the chance to review it. This version is incredibly faithful to the original. The main difference is that the controls now utilize the touch screen. Instead of using a keyboard or mouse, the touch screen now controls character movement and weapons. It seems pretty intuitive. The downside is that if you touch the screen too many times, it can result in firing weapons on accident. Never a good thing for a shooter especially when you’re trying to conserve ammo. You play as OSA agent BJ

    Megan Fox disses Wonder Woman

Megan Fox is definitely one of the most wanted women in Hollywood right now, but does she think she’s better than Wonder Woman? In an interview with the Times Online she was asked about the rumors that she may play Wonder Woman in an upcoming film. Here was her reaction: “Wonder Woman is a lame superhero. She flies around in her invisible jet and her weaponry is a lasso that makes you tell the truth. I just don’t get it. Somebody has a big challenge on their hands whoever takes that role but I don’t want to do it.” Fox may be in a summer blockbuster (Transformers) and may be a pretty lady, but she’s not gaining any points by critiquing the world’s most popular superheroine. Wonder Woman is a strong, smart, and beautiful superhero which probably intimidates the actress that prefers roles that involve, running, screaming and looking pretty.

    Nancy Drew Dossier Review

Platform: PC ESRB: E Number of Players: 1 Publisher: Her Interactive Release Date: November 2008 Official Website Buy Nancy Drew Dossier: Lights, Camera, Curses Basic Idea as I See it: Marketed as “Fast fun for busy Detectives,” this first title in the new Dossier series offers a quick, casual experience while still holding true to the Nancy Drew Mystery feeling. The game is challenging, but not to the point where frustration sets in. It combines a seek and find feel with an added element of thought – matching found items to either each other, or to larger items in the room. There is also the clue gathering and character interviewing – during which players have to remember things seen during play. Graphics: : The graphics in this game ring true to the Old Hollywood theme park setting and have an artistic quality that I enjoyed, more hand drawn than realistic,
