WomenGamers.com has teamed up with National Computer Camp to offer a scholarship valued at $985 to a female student (age 8-18) for one week. Applicants have to submit an essay in response to the following question:

What is your favorite video game, and how would you change the design to improve it?

The 500-600 word essay has to be submitted to scholarship@womengamers.com no later than May 22, 2009. So hurry and support your younger sister/friend/niece and let them know about this opportunity. Along with the essay include your contact information (name, address, telephone, email address) and age. Winning essays will be posted on WomenGamers.com and announced on May 29, 2009.

At GamingAngels.com we believe that the most important thing we can do is help encourage young women to be excited about technology and gaming. NCCamp is a chance for kids to learn, explore and complete a project. Giving them the tools they need to become even more excited about their future careers. Do your part by passing this information on and encourage young women to apply today!
