Making of trailer and screens for Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

EA is working hard to make Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince the most realistic Harry Potter game as of yet. The film’s actors all provided their voices for the game and as you can see in the screenshots below, they worked hard to make the in-game characters look real. The development team worked closely with the movie designers sharing blueprints of the castle and the grounds which you can explore. The Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince game is available in the US on June, 30, 2009. Enjoy the new screens and the making of trailer! Follow

    New Dashboard will be faster

The New Xbox Experience is still going through some growing pains. In Major Nelson’s last podcast he promises that the next 360 update will be mostly focused on improved technical performance. “We are making the guide faster. The team has done some really good stuff around making performance enhancements. However, ‘performance enhancements’ doesn’t sound right because it sounds like we’re going to give the guide a little blue pill, and we’re not doing that. “Whatever we call it (and it’s not going to be called the new NXE), but whatever the next version of the dashboard is called, it’s better with a lot of very cool new features. That update will be out later this year.” Follow

King.com Reigns Over Facebook With Kalorie King!

King.com has launched its first Facebook App Game – Kalorie King, a match 4 (or more) in which players can challenge their friends to a calorie burn off busting foods like pizza, popsicles, burgers, and candy canes, while watching out for sticky jam and trying to catch broccoli, apples, and other healthful foods. It’s an interesting match mechanism where players pull down columns of food to match them up with other columns (or neighbors) of food, while also adding the avoiding skill to not catch the falling diet busters. Play the 2 round game on your own, challenge friends, play in tournaments, and collect trophies. My Take: I like the game. It is a good addition to the Facebook game family and a distracting way to while away a few extra minutes. I am looking forward to more friends getting in to it to see more challenge results. The only
