    Jeremy Soule Releases Original Game Soundtrack

    What do you get when you mix epic quests with killer music? Find out this week during zOMG!fest, the ultimate summer event for gaming fanatics and music lovers hosted by Gaia Online, the world’s most active online community of more than eight million users.     The Game Factory Announces Q4 Games

    Publisher The Game Factory, has announced the company’s product line-up for the remainder of 2009. New games spanning multiple genres and 2 platforms will be released this fall and winter and includes sequels for both Zenses and Build-A-Bear Workshop. Zenses: Zen Garden for Nintendo DS is scheduled for release in September.  This is the third title in the series featuring relaxing puzzle games targeting women who enjoy a little spa-like escape when they’re at home or on the go.     Namco Networks cooks up Burger Time for Casual Gamers (with trailer)

    > Namco’s been busy in the kitchen—cooking up a new twist on an old classic with BurgerTime Deluxe, which launches today for PCs (a Mac version will be available later this summer). BurgerTime Deluxe challenges players to join Chefs Sally Salt and Peter Pepper as they help their uncle thwart the villain, Vinnie Vinegar. Players scale platforms and assemble burgers to clear the more than 60 levels, speeding through mini-games along the way. Each level introduces a variety of challenges for Peter and Sally including being chased by their food nemeses Mr. Hotdog, Mr. Egg and Mr. Pickle.     Midnight Gaming Championship kicks off fourth year

    The Midnight Gaming Championship (MGC) kicks off it’s fourth year this Saturday, June 27 at Hot Import Nights in Charlotte, NC. Other gaming stops for the 2009 tour include, Dallas, Houston, Chicago, Boston and Philadelphia. This year’s games include Guitar Hero World Tour, Super Smash Bros.     Namco brings BurgerTime to the PC

    The arcade classic, BurgerTime has new life on the PC. Namco announced that, BurgerTime Deluxe is now available on their PC Games portal. A Mac version will be available later this summer. The classic is getting a reboot as players join Chef Peter Pepper and Sally Salt try to beat Vinnie Vinegar.     jOG wins awards for motion sensing technology

    New Concept Gaming’s motion sensing peripheral jOG won three awards at this year’s Big Chip Awards. They won overall Grand Prix as well as Best Application of Technology and Big Chip International Award for Innovation. jOG is a motion sensing accessory compatible with the Nintendo Wii that allows the player to move the character by walking or jogging. jOG connects between the Nunchuk and Wiimote and clips to the belt.
