Duels of the Planeswalkers has over 40 hours of single-player game play against computer AI opponents that will challenge players of all skill levels. And there’s an entire metagame of Planeswalker decks for you to wield, whether you’re challenging your friends (or strangers) to a duel, three- or four-player multiplayer, or a Two-Headed Giant game, all on the Xbox LIVE Arcade (XBLA) network. There’s a collection of new Magic: The Puzzling–style challenges.

When playing you start with two core decks, Chandra and Garruk. There is a tutorial for brand new players as well as older players that want a refresher.

Loaded with great graphics, smooth gameplay, and good formats, it’s going to be a good addition for any trading card game player’s collection. Oh, did I mention that it’s being released in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish?

For a limited time after release, a special foil edition of the Garruk Wildspeaker trading card, seen below. Definitely a collector’s item!41j_garruk

Duels of the Planeswalkers will be released into the Arcade for the Xbox 360 June 17.

Honestly, my first paycheck from camp is going toward buying points and getting this game. I think it’s going to be amazing. I hope I get lucky enough to get one of the promo cards. I hope, though, it’s not a 1600 point game or something.

    its 800 points
the game its self is not really for all kinds of skill levels its deffinitly for beginners. but 800 points aint that much and it can be fun online, even if some rules are missing, for example u wont find an end of turn step… which is pretty bad for bounce spells. i hope they add some more riddles, couse they can be fun but it doesnt take u long to solve them when u know magic
