Karen Traviss, author of the first Gears of War novel Aspho Fields, will be continuing the story after the end of Gears of War 2 with her new novel Jacinto’s Remnant. Her novel picks up after the surviving humans evacuate and destroy their last city, Jacinto, and flee into the unknown to fight against the remaining Locust. It’s up to Marcus, Dom and the rest of the gears to help humanity survive the new land that they now find themselves in with not only the Locust, but other desperate humans to contend with.

Jacinto’s Remnant will be released alongside the Gears of War 2: All Fronts Collection on July 28th.
