LG has the First HDTV’s to have Streaming Netflix.

What’s that?  Go out to get a movie? That’s a thing of the pass. Now with LG’s new HDTV’s, you can get movies and lgtv-47lg30rtelevision programes streaming. BAM!

“The online movie rental service will be available in North America on LG’s new 47-inch LCD HDTV LH50 and 50-inch plasma HDTV PS80.”
There is no need for additional device  such as a gaming system or a top box. Instead you just connect using the TV and then stream. No messy wires, or cables. Just television and movies at your fingertips. In an age of right here, right now its a dream.  How does this system operate?
“While movie choices are automatically displayed on the TV screen and can be viewed instantly through the HDTV, Netflix members have to first add movies and TV episodes to their individual instant Queues, via the Netflix Web site.”

I think it's great for people that aren't gamers. People that don't know how to connect their pc or mac to their tv system to stream. The general public likes their electronics to be easy. This really does make it simple for them. It's interesting that Netflix has enough users to be such an influence on a tv manufacturer.
