Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li out now
Tweet
Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun-Li comes out Unleased & Unrated on a three-disc Blu-ray and two disc DVD set on June 30. Part of that set is the full-length animated comic movie, Street Fighter Round One: Fight! which basically covers the origins of the Street Fighter Universe.
Both versions also includes 14 deleted scenes, a sneak peek at Marvel vs Capcom 2, becoming a Street Fighter, and more behind the scenes footage.
To celebrate the launch of the movie, Fox Home Entertainment hosted a Street Fighter competition at the Mountain Bar in Los Angeles. The best players competed against each other for cash prize and Chun-Li look-a-likes met guests as they walked in.
Here are pictures from the event:

Street Fighter: The Legend of Chun Li is not going to win any awards, but it is a fun watch. Kristen Kreuk (“Smallville”) fights well in high heels and does a good job of “being” Chun-Li. The fight scenes are the highlights of the movie, but it’s Street Fighter so you expect that.
We have one copy to give away on GamingAngels.com. To enter leave us a comment answering the question, “What would you fight for?”
Update: To enter please let a comment. All comments will be put in a random selector and one person will be picked as the winner. The winner will be announced on July 2, 2009. Good luck!!

I'm warning you, this could get long :)I would fight for a lot of things. In fact, I find fighting interesting, fascinating and invigorating. I've never taken any courses or been officially trained, but I have been taught things about holds and how to get out of holds, how to defend myself and how to slow down my attacker if I'm in trouble. I take self-defense seriously, especially as a woman. Women fought for equal rights, but there are still people who try to take advantage of us. I pride myself on showing that I am not the "weaker" sex since that doesn't exist. There are just weaker people. And I'm not one of them. Now I would fight for a friend. I would fight for family. I would fight for my rights. I would especially fight for my life. Fortunately, I have yet to be in that position, so for now, I just fight for the last word. I fight to win a wrestling match and I fight to better myself and better learn my own weaknesses and strengths. I wasn't able to really practice anything when I broke my collarbone two years thanks to an epic fight with a quad (ATV if you prefer). The ATV won, hardcore. In fact, it made me break my collarbone neatly in half. And I mean neatly. In half. Pics, plz, right? Here's a scan of my x-ray: http://i7.photobucket.com/albums/y266/SnowKissedAm... I don't fight because it's the answer. I fight because it's hot, just like Chun-Li has shown since she first showed up on the gaming scene in Street Fighter II, released in 1991.
