The L@P Chair

I know I am not the only person out there that has gone to a coffee shop to have a wonderful conversation over a 3 dollars cup of joe.  When I get there the place is filled to the brim with what could be described as a commercial for Apple.  There isn’t a table to sit with your chum because a single person has taken up the space with their laptop, or mac book, and maybe many textbooks.
Rossin has designed a piece of furniture for those that bring their laptop computer in public. It is called the L@P chair, and it is designed to place you laptop on the specially designed arm.

According to the web site
“This sculptural chair is characterized by an organic upholstered backrest offering a comfortable area to lean on and a horizontal surface for the use of laptops. Matching tables and par vents supplements these seats creating a completely new and futuristic office world with regeneration character.”

The chair itself is a metal frame and padding in cold-moulded fire retardant polyurethane foam (density 65 kg/m³) covered with fibre wadding; fixed cover; revolving base stainless steel satin finished or 4 feet chrome plated on breaking wheels or on ferrules;

Also according to the pictures avaiable on the site, it is avaiable in red, black and white.
Unfortunately I was unable to find a pricing for this chair

Yeah... I do like the design... It doesn't do anything for all the textbooks, though... and you would still need another table for all the textbooks, lol. But it IS beautiful. I think you're right, too. It looks spendy. ;)

I feel it would cost an arm and a leg. (hah hah chair humor) I would really love one though.

That actually wouldn't be bad as a side chair. My bet is the price is pretty high though. :(
