    HydroTilt XL Builder Battle Contest!

    Here is a fun opportunity to win a $100 iTunes gift certificate! Publisher X has announced the launch of the HydroTilt XL Builder Battle!  Starting in July, Publisher X will give away one $100 iTunes gift certificate to the player who develops the most downloaded HydroTilt playable level for that month. To be eligible for the giveaway, each participant must create and submit a playable level to the official HydroTilt XL website.  User generated levels will be posted on the site under “Top Ten Level Packs,” and at the end of each month, the participant with the most number of downloads will be chosen to receive the $100 iTunes gift certificate. “Since we first launched the XL Level Editor we’ve been looking for a way to encourage players to share their originality with other HydroTilt fans,” said Mel Kirk, Director of Marketing for Publisher X.  “The Builder Battle encourages players

    No More Heroes moves from Wii

    Hardcore gaming on the Wii took a hit today when developer Suda 51 says that their franchise must spread out if it wants to expand. A sequel to the Wii title is currently being worked on by Goichi Suda’s Grasshopper Manufacture. Suda 51 told Edge, “I really want to make No More Heroes a big franchise and with this second episode have bigger success. I’m putting a lot of care into developing this IP, as I feel there’s a lot of potential. “I think this is the last No More Heroes that is going to be developed on Wii. To expand it to new possibilities, we need a new platform. Wii is a great platform, but we’ve done everything we can with it now.” Follow

    Demo of The Punisher: No Mercy live today

    ZEN Studios has announced that a demo of The Punisher: No Mercy is live today exclusively on the Playstation Network. The full version of No Mercy is out as well.
