Mothership Zeta trailer and team diary

Bethesda has released the trailer and latest team diary with Fallout 3 lead artist, and Mothership Zeta lead designer Istvan Pely to talk about the Mothership Zeta experience. The team diary has lots of great artwork. Here’s a sample: “And with that begins the Vault Dweller’s final and most fantastical adventure in the Capital Wasteland, or rather several hundred miles far above it. The concept of the UFO visit emerged early in the idea-toss sessions we had for DLC, in fact it was the very first thing to pop into my mind; it just seemed a natural fit. But we saved it for last, as a fitting conclusion to the Vault Dweller’s story. The whole “where no man has gone…” business and all that. It’s a fresh new venue with completely original environments to explore, hopefully instilling a sense of discovery of the unknown. It starts with an abduction, and

    WET gets dated

Bethesda’s Quentin Tarantino inspired game WET will be in retail shelves on September 18. The title will be out for the Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 and Bethesda has launched the official website at wetthegame.com. “We are extremely excited to bring WET to gamers on September 18th,” said Vlatko Andonov, president of Bethesda Softworks. “A2M has created an explosive gaming experience and the action is non-stop from start to finish.” WET is a highly stylized third person shooter. We tried out the title at E3 and it moves fast! You can shoot anywhere, anytime while doing acrobatics off of walls, boxes and people. The soundtrack is 70′s inspired music and it really does seem something out of a Tarantino movie. The star of WET is Rubi Malone who is trying to find a wealthy man’s son. But of course things go wrong and maybe a bit messy. Here is the

Halo 3: ODST Desperate Measures video

Here is the first video document from Bungie for Halo 3 ODST. St. Buck (Nathan Fillion) introduces the team of ODST’s to their mission into covenant occupied New Mombasa. “Gunnery Sergeant Eddie Buck has witnessed more war than any Marine should. He fought alongside Cole at Harvest—somehow managed to make it off of Reach alive. The fact that Buck is still on his feet says more about his mettle than his military dossier ever could. Now the Covenant have found Earth. Devastated her defenses. Anyone who could have stopped the invasion is dead or gone. But Buck and his squad of Orbital Drop Shock Troopers aren’t going to let Earth fall without a fight. These ODSTs may be headed feet first into hell, but they’re going to make damn sure it’s crowded with Covenant when they get there.” Follow

Burn Zombie Burn! Invades Playstation Home

A graveyard now exists in Playstation Home in the new Burn Zombie Burn! Playstation Home Space. The new space has the cartoony art style of the game and has visitors wandering through the graveyard, crypts and a maze. There are goodies and extras in the two crypts if you’re brave enough to go in. I’m probably not. They aren’t saying what the third crypt has inside. Follow

    Valkyria Chronicles Guest Review

Publisher: Sega Genre: RPG Rating: T (for Teen) System: PS3 Number of Players: 1 Guest Reviewer: Vespaa BUY Every generation of games yields not only new installments of a favored series, but brand new games competing for your attention, hoping to find a place among your beloved (and increasingly expensive) gaming library. Like anyone in this economy, I’ve been highly skeptical and careful of what games I’m willing to buy for my consoles. Replay value, game mechanics, story when it’s appropriate, and the overall quality of the game as it pertains to my personal taste are deciding factors. One of the few games I’ve bought this generation that has no only met my requirements for a must-have game, but exceeded them with flying colors is Sega‘s under-advertised Valkyria Chronicles. The only disappointing aspect of this game for me? The fact that hardly anyone is playing it. Released in November 2008,

Barnes and Noble announce free wifi and eReader app

Barnes and Noble have announced today that they will now offer complimentary wifi service in their stores provided by AT&T.  This is one heck of a step in a good direction for them as this will be great for people who enjoy going to Barnes and Noble to relax and read. Along with this announcement, Barnes and Noble have also released their free eReader app for the iPhone/iPod touch, Blackberry, and PC/MAC. They also have an offer for some free books once you download the app. Their prices for books look to be comparable to what Amazon offers for books on the Kindle, so between the free application download and the prices it looks to be like a good value.
