Danny Bhoy returns to DVD!

By: Naomi

danny_bhoy_dvdScottish comedian Danny Bhoy is back on DVD thanks to Madman Entertainment! His first DVD “Live at the Sydney Opera House” was released in 2007, and fans have been eagerly waiting for more ever since.

Immensely popular with Australian audiences, Danny Bhoy could also be considered the worlds most well-travelled comedian. He has the incredible knack of explaining in detail the not-so-glamorous side of what it’s like to be a comedian on the road. You might find some of his stories a little far-fetched but they are all true and you’ll be hard-pressed not to end up with a smile on your face.

His latest DVD is “Live at the Athenaeum” which was filmed live during one of Danny’s shows at Melbourne’s Athenaeum Theatre. It took place during his 65 date tour which completely sold out.

The DVD boasts a special unreleased ‘Visitor’s Guide to Scotland’ as well as his famous ‘bag-pipe routine’, bonus scene and photo gallery in its special features, and can be expected to available on August 5, 2009 in Australia.

If you want to catch him live, his next show will be on Thursday 23rd, 7pm & 9.30pm at Cinquime Salle, Montreal.

I did want to give you a Youtube glimpse of what you can expect from Danny Bhoy, but unfortunately he likes to use a few colourful words every now and again. But believe me, he is funny!
