Guitar Hero 5 will now include Shirley Mansion

Activision has announced that Guitar Hero 5 will include Shirley Manson’s likeness and vocal stylings. I love that the digital Shirley Manson looks like her and not some uber thin, anorexic chic. Manson’s Garbage hit, “Only Happy when it Rains” will be included.

So far Guitar Hero 5 includes music from, ” The Rolling Stones, The White Stripes, Kings of Leon, Tom Petty, Bob Dylan and Vampire Weekend, plus more than 25 artists from a variety of music genres that will be making their music video game debuts.”

Guitar Hero 5 will be in stores on September 1 for the 360, Wii, PS3, and Playstation 2. Here is a video of Manson talking about her Guitar Hero 5 experience:
