    Netflix tells Xbox 360 users they’re sorry

    Xbox 360 users that have used Netflix streaming ability lately may have noticed some problems watching movies or TV shows. Netflix sent out the attached apology giving users a 2% credit. “We are sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused. If you were unable to instantly watch a movie or TV episode last night via your Xbox, click on this account specific link in the next 7 days to apply your 2% credit on your next billing statement for the price of your 3 DVDs out at-a-time (Unlimited) plan. Credit can only be applied once.” It appears all Netflix/Xbox 360 users will get this email, so check your email inbox. This is definitely one of the best company responses I’ve seen in awhile.

    Nintendo announces new colors of DSi and Wii Remote

    Nintendo has decided to make a few announcements late tonight. Good thing we’re always working! Today, Nintendo announced the date for Wii Fit Plus launch which will be October 4th for the US. The DSi and Wii Remote are coming in new colors as well. Starting September 13, the Nintendo DSi will be available in White and Pink. This holiday season, Nintendo will be launching a new black version of the Wii Remote bundled with a black version of the Wii MotionPlus accessory. A black Nunchuk controller will be available for the holidays as well. Because you have to have a matching set. “All of these announcements bring more options and more choices to consumers as our industry heads into its busiest time of the year,” Fils-Aime said. “Each of these products allows consumers to enjoy a more personal gaming experience, no matter how they choose to play.” Wii Fit

    Watch “The Adventures of One Eskimo” on iTunes

    U.K.-based band, “One eskimO” and Warner have launched a new way of enjoying music through a “Visual Album”. The lead singer, Kristian Leontiou created “The Adventures of One Eskimo” which consists of 10 animated short stories. The 10 part short form animated series starts today on iTunes, Amazon Video on Demand, WBShop.com and CinemaNow in the US and will be on iTunes U.K. on September 7. The short animated films were produced by Passion Pictures, who are known for their Gorillaz animations. The animated films showcase a love story staring One eskimO and his band of animal friends.     NinjaBee announces Cloning Clyde’s ‘Spirtual Successor’

    NinjaBee has announced their next XBLA game – Anicents of Ooga. The picture above is a piece of concept art from the title. “Ever since we released Cloning Clyde we’ve been bombarded with requests for a sequel,” said John Nielson, founder of J. Kenworthy Entertainment. “Although Ancients of Ooga is not a sequel to Cloning Clyde, it is what we like to call a spiritual successor because of how heavy an influence Cloning Clyde had on its creation. Just like Cloning Clyde, Ancients of Ooga is going to bring originality, humor, its own unique artistic style, and extremely creative gameplay to Xbox Live Arcade.” No release date yet for Ancients of Ooga, but hopefully we’ll hear more soon!

    Sony announces God of War Collection

    Sony announced today coming this holiday season exclusively to the Playstation 3, the God of War Collection. The God of War Collection will feature reworked versions of God of War and God of War II on a single Blu-ray disc at full 1280 x 720 resolution. Sony has also announced that the God of War Collection will now have trophy support. For the first time, gamers can earn trophies for taking Kratos through the game. “We are excited today to announce God of War Collection,” said Scott Rohde, vice president, Worldwide Studios America. “Our fans spoke and we listened; thanks to our partnership with Bluepoint Games, fans and newcomers to the series can experience the epic God of War and God of War II saga in stunning 720p on PS3.     Want to know about Kingdom Hearts III?

    Can’t wait for the next Kingdom Hearts game? Kingdom Hearts Tetsuya Nomura says you can find some hints in Birth by Sleep for the PSP. Nomura revealed in Famitsu that Birth By Sleep will contain a secret video in the game. “I think there are a lot of puzzling elements, so maybe they’ll want to play the next game…And there’ll be a secret movie too.” Nomura refused to answer if it was specifically for Kingdom Hearts III. “The next game will be the next game (laughs)” Birth by Sleep will be out this Winter in Japan.     Monster Hunter 3 cheater gets banned until 9999

    When Capcom throws the banhammer, it means business. Someone used a cheat while playing Monster Hunter 3 and what was their punishment? A ban for 7 millenia, that’s right until December 12, 9999. “Dear Customer You are presently banned for using modded data to connect online. The ban will be left at 22:49 on 12/12/9999.     Rockstar Games has announced that Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars will be coming to the iPhone and iPod touch this fall. “Chinatown Wars is a perfect match for the iPhone and iPod touch,” said Sam Houser, Founder of Rockstar Games. “We are very excited to bring this incredibly ambitious version of Liberty City, with this level of detail and immersive gameplay on Apple’s new gaming platforms.” Grand Theft Auto: Chinatown Wars is out right now on the Nintendo DS and is coming to the PSP this fall.

The entire medical team of Harbor City wants to put their patients first, but it’s not clear how much longer they can continue to thwart the hospital administrator who is more motivated by profits than ethics. The intriguing storyline is told between cases, gradually revealing the secret frustrations of the hard working hospital staff.
