In the upcoming Bruce Willis film, Surrogates, people live their lives remotely via robotic surrogates. While people stay in their homes, they maneuver robotic versions of themselves to live in a world where they can do anything.

The movie is based on the graphic novel by Robert Venditti and Brett Weldele.
Today we have a behind the scenes look at the robotics and engineering behind the movie. Director Johnathan Mostow explains how the concepts in the movie might one day be a reality.
