Long Beach Comic Con has announced that Stan Lee will be the host of the ribbon cutting ceremony to start the con. The ceremony will take place Friday, October 2nd at Long Beach Convention Center.

Want a chance to meet Stan Lee? Long Beach Comic Con is choosing five fans who pre-order their weekend convention passes to have a private Meet and Greet event with Lee on opening day of the convention. Listening to Mr. Lee talk about comics is unbelievable, so you’ll want to enter! Details are at www.longbeachcomiccon.com. Hero Initiative and Desert Wind Comics will also be arranging for five more individuals to meet Lee. All those details will be on their sites shortly.
