Stride Gum Save the Arcades Zachary Quinto

Zachary Quinto joined STRIDE today at Video West Arcade in Glendale, CA to launch the “Save the Arcades” campaign. The campaign starts today and is focused on keeping arcades open. Arcades these days are struggling to stay open and many are starting to close their doors.

For the campaign, there are four iconic arcades from around the country vying for $25,000 at www.savethearcades.com. On the website, visitors can play an arcade style video game and donate their points to the arcade of their choice. What can you do to help? Visit the website and play and then go and visit your local arcade.

Zachary is a long time fan of arcades and played with employees and local gamers at Video West Arcade.

Outside of the competition, STRIDE donated $10,000 to help a Philadelphia-area arcade stay in business.
