    Indiecade 2009 reveal of Day One Conference Schedule

    IndieCade 2009 will be taking place on October 1-4, 2009 in Culver City, California. Along with game demos, artist talks and workshops there are also conference sessions. IndieCade has announced the first day conference schedule which features great speakers like Brenda Brathwaite, Keita Takahasi and Jenova Chen. Saturday and Sunday’s schedule will be announced shortly. The Hands-on exhibit is open daily from 10am-7pm. Go to www.indiecade.com to find out all the information.     Iggy Pop Comes to LEGO Rock Band

    Big news from MTV Games and WB today, as they announced music icon Iggy Pop will be featured in LEGO Rock Band. Not only will we be able to play as Iggy which singing “The Passenger” but he will also be voicing us through the game’s tutorial. LEGO Rock Band will be coming to Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and DS systems this Holiday season.

    Alienware invading the Tokyo Game Show

    As I mentioned previously, Alienware has been sending out teasers about a new invasion that will be coming. Along with the image I posted, they now have two teaser trailers out now that are quite interesting to watch. Alienware will be at the Tokyo Game Show to announce this new product line, and I only wish I could be there to check them out in person!     Virtual tour of Harry Potter theme park

    All levels of Harry Potter fans should be excited by the video below. Universal Orlando Resort and Warner Bros. have released the first-ever details of the eagerly-awaited The Wizarding World of Harry Potter attraction, due to open in spring 2010. On the Universal Orlando Resort website you can view a map of the park as well as the video below that gives a virtual tour of what the resort may look like. The video shows rides that may be included to give visitors the full Harry Potter experience. The theme park will draw from ideas from the books and movies to be a fully immersive experience for any Harry Potter fan. Universal states you can buy guest packages currently for the Spring but recommends to sign up on their site to continue to get details about the theme park.     Another new album is going to hit Rock Band within days of its retail release. This time its Pearl Jam’s Backspacer CD. The album lands in stores and on the Xbox 360 this Sunday (Sept 20th). It will be on the Wii Sept 22 and the PS3 Sept 24th.     Premium Members of Freaky Creatures earn Six Flag tickets
