    FUNimation News from New York Anime Fest day 1!

    It was a big day in news from FUNimation at the New York Anime Fest on Friday! Below are the three top stories that I saw from today. Cast of “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” announced “Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood” continues the Fullmetal Alchemist series, and the English dubs are set to be released in Spring 2010. At NYAF the new members of the cast who will be joining as the English voices for the series.     ESA Foundation Awards $90,000 to Aspiring Developers

    The Entertainment Software Association’s ESA Foundation has announced the 2009 winners for it’s scholarship program for women and minority students that are working toward a career in the computer and video game industry. 30 student video game developers will be receiving $3,000 each ($90,000) for the 2009-2010 academic year. “We are delighted to support these young men and women working to transform their passion for games into careers,” said Michael Gallagher, president and CEO of the Entertainment Software Association. “We look forward to these awards enabling them to realize their dreams and become leaders in our innovative and artistic industry.” We want to congratulate all the winners especially GamingAngel Vainya!
