Chillingo & Kinelco Release Underground for iPhone/ iPod Touch

Chillingo and Kinelco have released the classic 2d shooter, Underground to the Apple Apps Store.
In Underground, players follow a graffiti artist through an underground transit system to solve the mystery of a previous art crime. As players progress through the story, they are introduced to the graffiti artist’s inner demons. Player move from station to station in this classic 2d style side scrolling shooter.
Underground uses a the tilt and multi touch funtionality of the iPhone/ iPod Touch to control shooting and enable multi direction aspects. Underground has three difficulty levels: Easy, Hard and Impossible. The game also features 60 enemies and 11 different weapons.
Graffiti artwork in Underground is created by abstract artist, Mr Frame and the score for the game was done by Hip Hop artist, Pp3d. These contributions add to the authenticity of the in game world. “Mr. Frames’ cutting-edge graffiti plus an original hip-hop music score from Pp3d are groundbreaking features in the shoot-‘em-up genre,” said Johnny Coghlan, Head of Publishing for Chillingo. “These elements combined with accessible but intense gameplay results in a game that will appeal to anyone with a genuine sense of style.”
Underground is currently available from the Apps Store for $3.99.
