November 6-8, 2009 will be the weekend that geeks will descend on Savannah, Georgia for GEEKEND 2009. The three day conference basically embraces all things “Geek”. Sort of like we do! From iPhone obsession, to Facebook or IT pros, they will be there to talk all things geek.

“We want to flip the idea of somebody hanging a badge around their neck over a corporate T-shirt,” said Jake Hodesh of New Moon of Savannah, one of Geekend’s organizers. “We want cool, crazy people walking around downtown [Savannah]. They’ll still have badges around their necks, but they will have energy – creative energy.”

The keynote will be by graphic design guru David Carson. Day two has Major Nelson from Xbox Live take the stage and there will be other panels and speakers throughout the conference.
