Naruto coming to Disney XD, and gaming consoles too!
Fall season television got a little less dull for those lucky enough to have access to the new DISNEY XD channel! Naruto Shippuden has been slated to premiere its dubbed episodes from October on the channel (which is aimed at providing live-action and animated series for kids between 6 and 14 years).
And those Naruto fans that are also video games fans have double the reason to be happy as TOMY are releasing not one but 2 new Naruto games this year as well! However, if you don’t own a Nintendo DS or a Wii you’re out of luck!
Coming to the DS is “NARUTO Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2” with 34 playable characters, new attacks and cinematic jutsu moves. It also has a reworked Story Mode, the new Quest Mode and wireless multiplayer battles which sees you using Naruto to battle it out with his friends! NARUTO Shippuden: Ninja Destiny 2 is rated “T” for Teen, and will be out September 15, 2009 at the cost of $29.99 MSRP.
Wii devotees will have the pleasure of adding “NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3” to their collection. The 3D fighting game shows off a number of gameplay mechanics and modes, and has the new addition of Wi-Fi multiplayer. The storyline follows that of the anime series, and features 35 different characters with their own specific jutsu moves as well as 40 3D environments in which to battle it out – 9 of which are brand spanking new. NARUTO Shippuden: Clash of Ninja Revolution 3 is rated “T” for Teen, and will be out November 17, 2009 at the cost of $39.99 MSRP
