Word is a couple of new Nintendo DSi exclusive titles are coming out in Europe in early 2010 – and they are also destined for DSi’s in Australia and New Zealand. It’s all thanks to 505 Games who will also launch a Nintendo DS title that has Nintendo DSi compatible content.

The first title is the game Hair Salon, developed by Sonic Powered. The game uses the DSi camera function to take your picture so that you can try out some hair styles or make-up looks on yourself or your friends (without the messy cleanup!), and you can even use your picture to become a character in the game! It is also the first game to have Automatic Face Recognition – stick your noggin in the right spot and the DSi will automatically take your picture! Pretty cool, huh?

Little Book of Big Secrets from Legend Studios comes with lots of applications and mini-games to keep young minds occupied and out of your hair for a while (or your own mind if you prefer). It allows you to customise and create your own personal diary, and also keep personal, contact and date information stored within it. Use the DSi camera to take pictures of your friends to upload to your contacts page, or create some funny photos with the sticker function, and while you’re at it why not decorate a photo of your room?
