GameSpot has art and video that confirms Super Street Fighter IV is a new, standalone title. The title will have eight new characters and some tweaks based on community feedback.

Interesting that it’s an all new title instead of DLC. The Yoshinori Ono says that the changes are so extensive that a new disc release was necessary.

It’s due in Spring 2010 for the PS3 and 360.
