The Guild Seasons 1&2 DVD review

theguild_castIf you haven’t started watching The Guild, you’re really missing out on a quality show! And today is a big day for them as a DVD set of Seasons 1 & 2 hits Amazon. I was able to get hands on with this before the release to check out all of the new features that you have not seen yet!

For those who haven’t watched the show yet, here’s a brief run down: The Guild is a show based on an online video game guild The Knights of Good. Written by Felicia Day the show centers around the in game and out of game lives of Codex (Felicia Day), Zaboo (Sandeep Parikh), Bladezz (Vincent Caso), Clara (Robin Thorsen), Vork (Jeff Lewis), and Tinkerballa (Amy Okuda). When Zaboo surprises Codex by showing up at her apartment, we get to watch what happens when the entire guild finally meets up in real life.

The Guild DVD is a two disc set with a season on each disc, and the parts I enjoyed the most are all of the extra features that you get! There are new behind the scenes footage, commentaries, and even some audition footage. I really enjoyed watching the behind the scenes stuff and the commentary which had me thoroughly entertained! I also enjoyed the “Play All” feature as the episodes really fit well just running into one another with the breaks of Codex talking to her webcam.

For $11.99 plus shipping on Amazon, this DVD set is a great buy and I think that fans of The Guild will really enjoy the special features!
