Weblings Contest on GamingAngels
We here at GamingAngels are excited about WebWars and Weblings. Our very own Cherith covered them for us at PAX, and the idea of being able to play a game while surfing the internet is just too cool.
To help celebrate the launch of the game, our good friends at WebWars are giving you the chance to help the Weblings and win yourself a *Toshiba laptop at the same time.
From Webwars:
Weblings are fantastical creatures that live all over the Internet and keep it running. Evil bugs have captured them and scattered their shards all over the Internet, and now we need your help to find and rescue each one! To find the Webling shards, you’ll need an Internet connection and a computer. Will you help us?
WebWars, the creators of Weblings, wants to help you accomplish this task! Let us know which Web site you would visit to look for a Webling, and you’ll be entered into a drawing to win one of two Toshiba laptops!
Weblings is FREE to play, so once you’ve entered, try it out! Click the big “Play for free” button here to start your own Webling collection!
Good luck!
The contest will run from Sept 23rd until Oct 7th, so make sure you get your votes in by leaving a comment in the section below! You are limited to one entry per person, and only US residents over 18 are eligible for this contest.
Want to start playing Weblings yourself? It’s simple! Just create an account and download the toolbar (compatible with Internet Explorer and Firefox).
*Note: The Toshiba laptop is a Satellite model which you can view the specifications of here.

Hmmmm, where to find some Weblings…I would go to gamingangels.com, yahoo.com, google.com, facebook.com, epsilen.com, spawn.com, gamespot.com, imdb.com, avid.com, addictinggames.com, kongregate.com, and starshiptroopers.net.
Site I frequent
Facebook.com
myspace.com
jsrdirect.com
blabbermouth.com
earache.com
metalsucks.com
google.com

http://www.maggietaylor.com/
http://www.chateaubizarre.com
http://www.biblio.com
amazon.com

http://www.myspace.com/morbidcreations
http://www.metalgodapparel.com/

http://propertyroom.com/
And yes I go to all of these pretty much on a daily basis
Aside from getting my weather fix at weatherunderground.com I use google.com as my portal and gametab.com for my primary gaming news feed.
For fun I check out collegehumor.com, somethingawful.com, digg.com, reddit.com and occassionally…astrocenter.com (go ahead and laugh, I like seeing what my horoscope has to say!).
This is a game I know my wife Kelly will love! She’d love to search the following sites for Webling shards:
gamingangels.com
themarriedgamers.net
talkingaboutgames.com
facebook.com
twitter.com
platformnation.com
That sounds really cool, and a lot like a game I used to play (PMOG) before their toolbar started acting weird with Firefox. I’d definitely try to hunt those critters down, at sites like imdb.com, livejournal.com, threadless.com, facebook.com, and deviantart.com!!
You can always find me lurking in the Wrestlecrap.com forums and Metsblog.com Facebook is a good one as is twitter.com. Those are always on the go. I’m obsessed with checking those out on my blackberry. Oh yeah! Crackberry.com, too! Myspace? Bah! Who goes on there anymore. Just bands, really.
