Star Wars: Uncut 15 seconds at a time

Star Wars is a geek favorite for fans of all ages. To show how much fans love Star Wars: A New Hope, this group has split it up the movie into 15 second clips. They ask that fans claim a scene, re-film it, and then upload it back to the site. When all the scenes are complete, they plan to edit it all together for people to watch. Head to the site to watch what people have already come up with. Everything from LEGO acted scenes, to 8-bit and hand puppets. I spent 20 minutes laughing at what people came up with. The animated scenes are my favorite. Here is the

Over 100 people waited in three different lines to meet the author of Heat Wave, Richard Castle, better known as Nathan Fillion. Nathan is the star of Castle, television show on ABC. In a rather unique promotion, the book they talk about on the show was actually written and published. You can read every chapter here or purchase the book at any retail store. I loved watching at the event Browncoats mingle with people who were just fans of the show. The lady in line behind me buying the book for her husband didn’t really understand why so many people showed up. Nathan arrived early and stayed long enough to give everyone an autograph. He took time to speak with each person and even held someone’s baby! We spoke about GamingAngels and Halo 3: ODST. I had wondered
