2nd Ben 10 Live-Action film coming to DVD

If you have not heard of Ben 10 by now, maybe it’s time to pay attention. Just about every kid I’ve seen that comes close to anything related to the series, whether it’s a DVD or a toy, has to have it despite their parents constant refusals. It is seriously bigger for them than Pokemon was for us. Anyway, it appears that Ben 10 has gotten a second live-action film titled “Ben 10: Alien Swarm”. It is directed by Alex Winters who most of us would know as Bill from the “Bill and Ted” movies. Way. The cast is different from the first live-action film and is lead by 4 young people (below), with Ryan Kelley in the role of Ben Tennyson. The story of the movie sees Ben break ranks of the Plumbers (the secret group he is in that battles alien forces) to assist Elena (a mysterious young

    VIZ Pictures loves Yayoi Kusama

VIZ Pictures’ latest edition in the NEW PEOPLE ARTIST SERIES focuses on artist Yayoi Kusama in the documentary titled “Yayoi Kusama: I Love ME“. Directed by Takako Matsumoto, the documentary follows Kusama over a one-and-a-half year period as she completes a series of 50 large monochrome drawings. The sculptor, painter, and novelist is known for her use of polka dots and nets to create an “infinity effect”, and we see her visual style arise to create works using themes about the conflicts between life, death, and love – either with or without peace and quiet. Acclaimed by the international art world for over 50 years, Yayoi Kusama has received many awards. In 2006 she was the recipient one of Japan’s most prestigious awards, Japanese National Lifetime Achievement Award, which is awarded to artists who have been recognised internationally. Wal-Mart enters pre-owned games market

Wal-Mart has decided to enter the pre-owned games market. Previously they had tested out trade-in Kiosks in the store, much like Best Buy and it must have been a success because they have decided to launch an in-store pre-owned section. According to Wal-Mart’s website, the pre-owned games are guaranteed to play. “Every pre-owned video game is polished, tested and inspected prior to shipping to ensure that it performs properly. All games will be delivered with original product packaging, shrink-wrapped and with a sticker designating them as pre-owned.” Taking a look at their inventory online, their prices do seem low/competitive to other pre-owned game stores. An interesting thing is that most of the availability says online and not sold in stores. Users can get the title shipped to their store for free which is available in 7-10 days. While that’s free, not sure if you want to deal with a local
