New “What A Wonderful World!” manga – thanks to VIZ!

Now before you start crooning Louis Armstrong’s “What A Wonderful World” (as I am doing), let me assure you it is not about trees of green or red roses… OK, it may have roses and trees in it but that’s not the point. VIZ Media have let us know that there is a new manga coming out on their VIZ Signature manga imprint named “What A Wonderful World!” by Inio Asano. The premise of the stories appears to

GamingAngels at the first annual Long Beach Comic Con

The very first Long Beach Comic Con was October 2-4, 2009 at the wonderful Long Beach Convention Center. I love that area because the convention center is very nice and there are plenty of restaurants or other places to visit while you are down there. After checking in, it was apparent right away that this was a more casual, kickback event than other comic cons. At first panic set in because I like being extremely organized with my interview schedule. By the time I took the picture above, I realized that Long Beach Comic Con was going to be a more relaxed, convention and to just go with the flo. Unfortunately, I could not go every day of the con because last weekend was a huge weekend for events (IndieCade). The showroom floor wasn’t tremendous but it was well organized. Another positive about the show floor was the placement of

Beyonce wants to make a fitness game

Beyonce said in a recent intervew that she’d love to make a fitness video game. It’s the one industry she hasn’t dominated yet, and the game would be based on her dance routines. Beyonce said in an interview with Spicezee, that she would use her experience with choreography to create an interactive workout for her fans. She said: “I’d like to get involved in video games, since I really love Wii Fit. I think it would be a great idea to incorporate choreography because, for me, my workout is way more fun when it involves dancing, as opposed to running on a boring treadmill. “So I would love to do some kind of fitness game but incorporate dance and performance into it.
