Guest First Look – Need for Speed: Shift

Right away, I noticed the level of detail that went into the cockpit area, giving the viewer a sense of actually being the driver. Familiarizing myself with the controls, I sat on the available bar stool and set to playing. My first foray into the track was not pretty. In fact, I didn’t factor in how sensitive the controls were

AKB48 US Debut at Webster Hall

AKB48 held their debut concert here in the states at Webster Hall on Sunday, September 27th. Upon entering, we were given neon pink glow sticks and red and white handkerchiefs adorned with the group’s logo. When the show finally started, the girls came out in their signature school uniforms and opened their set with the appropriately titled, “Overture.” The girls, ranging from ages 14 to 21, are divided into three groups; Team A, Team K and Team B, and are comprised of 48 performers total, but only about half the group came over seas for their US debut. The others, presumably continuing shows at the group’s own theater in Akihabara, the groups own motto being “Idols you can meet every day.” The show was amazing, and the girls were extremely vibrant and energetic on stage; performing such upbeat songs including, “Baby, Baby, Baby” and “Cherry Nagisa.” Rotating in small groups
