Guest Review: Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift

Title: Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift Publisher: Square-Enix Developer: Square – Enix Platform(s): Nintendo DS ESRB: E 10+ Release Date: 6/24/2008 Official Website RENT I know what you’re thinking “Aren’t all reviews supposed to be unbiased?” Well yeah you’re right but sometimes we can’t help but sometimes we just can’t seem to keep our opinions out of our reviews. This time I’m reviewing Final Fantasy Tactics A2 Grimoire of the Rift. It’s a pretty old game about a boy who is just starting his summer vacation but is

Happy Anniversary to Hello Kitty – Three Apples Exhibit

Thursday night we attended the grand opening of the Three Apples exhibit at Royal/T in Culver City. Royal/T is generally a maid cafe with a shop and an art exhibit. They tend to change out their space often with different themes. The Three Apples exhibit celebrates all things Hello Kitty. The Three Apples exhibit is free to the public and runs from October 23 through November 15. There are many parts to the exhibit. At the entrance is the apartment completely designed in Hello Kitty merchandise. Followed by the store which houses some of the cutest Hello Kitty merchandise I’ve ever seen. At the grand opening, TokiDoki showcased their latest Hello Kitty/Tokidoki goods. I loved their vinyl Hello Kitty. The grand opening also included guests like Paris Hilton, Dave Navarro, Tarina Tarantino, and Kimora Simmons recording for her reality show. After a wall of plush Hello Kittys, there is a

Bioware uses sex to market Dragon Age once again

But the marketing team is only reaching out to the male audience. During E3 and many times in media interviews, the topic of sex in the title was stressed over and over again. But what else do you do if you are desperate to appeal to the male demographic to buy your game? You get sexy girls to dress up like your characters of course. On Maxim.com, Bioware has decided to dress up models to look like their in-game counterparts. “Fortunately, the developers included a couple of ways allowing one’s avatar let off some virtual steam: sneaky seductress Leliana and shapeshifting mage Morrigan. Both are possible romantic companions in the game—the second best kind of sex, next to the real thing!—but you don’t have to wait
