Breast Cancer Awareness Not Welcome in Forza 3

In this day and age, one would like to believe that they are doing good by promoting and supporting a cause such as breast cancer, especially during breast cancer awareness month. Unfortunately, an Xbox Live user’s “Save the Ta Tas” Susan G Komen bumper sticker which was selling in the Auction House/Store Front for the newly released Forza 3 ended up in the user being banned for violating the Xbox Live terms of service. Halloween costume recommendations from the Gaming Angels

Halloween is my absolute favorite holiday of the year, and planning my costume tends to start about a year in advance! And I’m not alone as my fellow staffer Rachel enjoys it as well!  So if you’re stuck on what to be this year, or even looking to plan for next year we have put together some lists on some costumes! Rachel’s video game costume recommendations Alyx Vance (Half-Life) – Alyx was developed as a very identifiable character, and that comes across on the ease of her outfit. Grab some jeans and boots, which everyone should have. For her top, a simple grey sweatshirt with a black design on it works. Her jacket is a bit harder to find, but all you’d need is a dark brown heavy duty work jacket, accessorized with ductape on the right shoulder. Wear your hair back with a headband, throw on a necklace, and

Australian lobbyist group outraged at Modern Warfare 2

Our poor Australian readers have to fight for every game they want to play lately. An Australian lobbyist group is demanding for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2 to be reclassified after they found out gamers can play as a terrorist in the game. The Australian Council on Children and the Media is demanding the Australian Government to revise Modern Warfare 2′s rating of MA 15+ after leaked gameplay footage showed a player gunning down civilians in an airport. Council president Jane Roberts spoke to the Syndey Morning Herald, saying that: “The consequences of terrorism are just abhorrent in our community and yet here we are with a product that’s meant to be passed off as a leisure time activity, actually promoting what most world leaders speak out publicly against. “If that material was on the internet about how to become a terrorist, how to join a group and how

Iwata feels the Wii has stalled

Speaking at a press conference today in Osaka, Iwata stated his feelings on the status of Wii sales. Mainichi Shimbunreports that Iwata said, “Wii has stalled. We were unable to continually release strong software, and let the nice mood cool.” “We were unable to show a new game to become ‘the next thing’. In the game market, once you’ve lost the momentum, it takes time to recover.” The exec added that the Wii price cut is increasing sales but admits that the failure to deliver regular first party triple-A software can be causing a drop in profits. “With the price drop, sales returned to a certain level, but they just did not reach the level of last year around this time,” he continued. “We decided that it would be difficult to sell enough to recover from the poor performance of the first half of the year.” “In order to reach
