Microsoft and Oberon Media join breast cancer fight

I think it’s great to see game companies joining in to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Oberon Media and Microsoft will donate five percent of the profits for every PC game purchased on MSN Games from October 12-18,2009.
“We are proud to team together with Oberon Media in an effort to raise money for this cause,” said Megan Hodel, MSN Games Global Marketing Manager. “We are committed to making a difference and encourage players to support this effort by purchasing some of their favorite casual games.”
“We are dedicated to making a positive impact on the world and contributing to the fight against breast cancer,” said Don Ryan, chief operating officer of Oberon Media. “As the world’s largest grassroots network of breast cancer survivors and activists, Susan G. Komen for the Cure promises to save lives and end breast cancer forever and we want to help them get there.”
Breast Cancer is the leading cause of death for women ages 40-59. This year, an estimated 215,990 woman and 1,450 men in the US alone will be diagnosed with invasive breast cancer.
Here are a few examples of Oberon Media games on MSN Games:
Artist Colony: Inspire artists as they find love, betrayal and achieve creative genius in this Sim masterpiece.
Bubble Town: Save Borb Bay from calamity in this addictive arcade-puzzler!
Dream Day Wedding: Viva Las Vegas: Plan the perfect Vegas wedding in this romantic seek & find adventure.
Women’s Murder Club: Twice in a Blue Moon: Decipher a criminal’s murderous clues before it’s too late!
