PDP Reveals New NERF Blaster for the Wii

By: Yukino

NERF Blaster CloseUpNERF was something you would always find scattered all over my house. PDP Gaming has been bringing us all sorts of wonderful NERF accessories, and now they have announced the new NERF Switch Shot EX-3 gun attachment for the Nintendo Wii.

The Switch Shot EX-3 works with any light gun supported game on the Wii. The Red Reveal attachment clips onto the front of the gun and decodes hidden clues from EA’s NERF “N-Strike” Elite title. In its final form you can have tonnes of fun with the Sonic Micro Darts and the launcher function.

“Working with the NERF brand makes it easy to develop fun, innovative and exciting products for the video game aisle,” said John Moore, senior vice president of marketing for California-based PDP. “PDP adds another dimension to the popular blasters to include features that gamers want, and the NERF SWITCH SHOT EX-3 is no exception – it really is the best blaster on the market for gamers.”

The NERF Switch Shot EX-3 is an officially licensed Nintendo product, produced in cooperation with EA, and is part of the agreement between PDP and Hasbro Inc. The NERF Switch Shot EX-3 retails at $19.99 US and works wonderfully with the Wiimote and Nunchuk.

This is pretty nifty. I remember buying my N-Strike for Resident Evil: Umbrella Chronicles last year and I loved it. Im curious to see how they may have changed the design. :) Is there anyway this can be demoed by GA?-|3

Can you still use regular Nerf darts with it? You can never have too many working Nerf guns.

The gun is pretty cool! I used it during a recent hands on and it was fun to shoot with!

Sweet! I'll continue to check back for a future update. Hopefully, before Darkside hits the wii! Thanks for checking! :D
