Star Wars: Uncut 15 seconds at a time
Tweet
Star Wars is a geek favorite for fans of all ages. To show how much fans love Star Wars: A New Hope, this group has split it up the movie into 15 second clips. They ask that fans claim a scene, re-film it, and then upload it back to the site. When all the scenes are complete, they plan to edit it all together for people to watch.
The film is 53% complete with 147 scenes still free for the taking. Star Wars Uncut is also accepting donations and is attempting to meet with Lucasfilm to see if it’s possible to create dvds of the finished project.
Head to the site to watch what people have already come up with. Everything from LEGO acted scenes, to 8-bit and hand puppets. I spent 20 minutes laughing at what people came up with. The animated scenes are my favorite.
Here is the official trailer and make sure to take 15 seconds if you have time to contribute!

This just looks really cool. I would have no idea what scene to recreate, but I'm more then glad in seeing a finished product.
