Coming out in only a few days, EVE Online: Dominion will be the 12th free expansion for EVE Online. From the looks of it, Dominion will add and improve on many features in the EVE universe. They also have a snazzy website here which has trailers, full list of changes with links to dev blogs and some cool screen shots and wallpapers. The trailer for Dominon is pretty rad. Super Hero Squad Show featuring Falcon

Yesterday we received a video from Marvel showcasing the Super Hero Squad Show. This particular video’s subject is Falcon Profile. Here is the text they asked to be with the video. Should give you an idea as to what it’s about: Falcon Falcon flies with wings made of “hard light” (a solid type of hologram). He’s upgraded them with Stark-built “feathers” that shoot out as projectiles. Falcon communicates telepathically with birds, particularly his pet falcon REDWING. He can even “see” through their eyes, which comes in handy when the team needs recon. The original adrenaline junkie, Falcon loves anything that moves fast, flies high or causes severe motion sickness. Passionate and optimistic at 17, he’s a born hot-dogger who’s finally made it to the big leagues. Beneath his jokester persona, he’s got a lot to prove. Falcon’s going to figure out, over time, that he’s as powerful a hero as

Atlus releases trailer for Wii RPG, Shiren the Wanderer

Atlus has announced a trailer for Shiren the Wanderer and a brand new site to give you more information on the Wii title. The game is an RPG on the Wii that takes place in Japanese mythology. “One of the most important elements of what makes Shiren the Wanderer a worthwhile RPG adventure on Wii is its intricate story,” commented Crystal Murray, PR Specialist at Atlus. “The stoic ronin Shiren and his ever-prattling sidekick Koppa set out on an epic millennium-spanning journey, steeped in Japanese mythology. Join them as they as they race to unlock the secrets of a mystical land. The newly launched official website and trailer will help make waiting for the game’s February release slightly more bearable, of course excluding fans who have access to a time machine and/or the ability to safely freeze themselves until said time, in which case they’re all set.” You can visit

Magic: the Gathering Worlds in Rome

This past weekend was the Magic: the Gathering World Championship in Rome, Italy. An astounding 408 players from more than 50 countries showed up to participate. It was a grueling four days of head-to-head competing for the coveted title and prize money. Three new members were initiated into the Magic Hall of Fame, joining big names like Randy Buehler. The top eight players from the tournament span eight different countries. In the end, Andre Coimbra from Portugal took the title. Not only was the World Championship a great moment for these hardcore players, there were a lot of fun side events like getting a chance to play against the creator of Magic: the Gathering himself, Richard Garfield. Some other big-names like Mike Turian (one of the main forces behind Time Spiral), Aaron Forsythe (head, R&D), and Tom LaPille (developer), were around to play anything from Elder Dragon Highlander to Duel

Guitar Hero team looking at Natal

It’s not too surprising that various game development companies are looking at using Natal in various ways. Co-founder of RedOctane, Kai Huang told the Seattle Times that the Guitar Hero group is playing with the idea of having a camera track player’s movements. He also confirmed Guitar Hero 6 (like you didn’t know that was coming!). Huang said, “We haven’t made any specific announcements of what we’re doing with new technologies in Guitar Hero 6 and beyond, but one of the areas we’re exploring certainly is camera technology and what you can do — track your movements and maybe have your characters on the screen do certain things you’re doing, or personalize it more so it can look more like you on stage rather than just be an avatar. There are a lot of possibilities that technologies like Natal will bring, and we’re definitely exploring those.”

    Here’s your Rock Band news

This morning I woke up to three Rock Band emails. Well actually six. For some reason I get a double dose of every email. To make things easier for reading, I’m going to combine all of them into one post. First up is something that could affect your Black Friday shopping. At various Old Navy stores they will be hosting game kiosks where families can try out Lego Rock Band. Not any kiosk, six of these stores will have Rock Band equipped entertainment stages. Where they can really pretend to be a rock star. There are prizes to be won including $200 shopping spree and Rock Band songs. “Rock Band offers families a wonderful activity to enjoy together and we’re excited to bring that experience to life in Old Navy stores this Holiday season,” said Christina Glorioso, Vice President of Marketing Sponsorships for MTV Games. “This will make shopping for
