Beatles Rock Band “Share Your Love” contest coming to a close

Way back in September, we mentioned the Gamestop Share Your Love contest. The contest is winding down and will be ending on November 16, 2009.
Which doesn’t leave you much time to get your entry in. We’ll help you get inspired by giving away a copy of The Beatles: Rock Band for the Playstation 3. It’s just the game, but it definitely can help with inspiration for the contest.
For the GameStop contest you’ll need to write a love song that uses titles from Beatles songs. The winner gets roundtrip airfare to Vegas to see The Beatles: Love (in VIP seats), and accommodations at the Mirage Hotel.
To win a copy of The Beatles: Rock Band for the Playstation 3, comment on this post with your favorite Beatles song. Mention if it’s in The Beatles: Rock Band or if you hope to see it in the future.

“Lucy in the sky with diamonds” and “with a lil help from my friends” Both are already playable, but they just remind me of the good ol’ car drives with my mom to my grandma’s house.. it was definitely a great time for music!!
My favorites are “Free as a Bird” from Anthology 1 and “Yellow Submarine”. “Free as a Bird” is not on TBRB, but I’d hope one day it is. “Yellow Submarine” is, however, in the game.
Norwegian Wood is my favorite Beatles song because of the unique-at-the-time use of the Sitar and the amazingly beautiful melody.
It is not included in Beatles Rock Band
I like most all of the beatles songs (my parents had all of their albums), but one of my favorites is “I am the Walrus”. It is such an odd song and it was put on the year I was born (yes I just dated myself). It is on The Beatles Rock Band.
I love Octopus’s Garden and Luckily it is in the game.
Eleanor Rigby, and I’m not honestly sure if it’s in the game or not but if not I would love it if it were added.
Rocky Raccoon is one of my favorites and probably mostly overlooked.
I have a lot of favorites but one of them that is not in the game is “Strawberry Fields”.
It’s terrible, but I have Yellow Submarine in my head, so that’s what I’m going with.
Favorite Beatles song has to be “I wanna hold your hand” or “When I saw her standing there”
But I also like “All My Lovin’” and “She loves you”
Great songs, and I like to sing them to myself when thinking about my crush/sweetheart.
