The puzzle/rpg that many of us loved will now officially have a sequel. Puzzle Quest 2 was announced today for the Xbox Live Arcade and DS. Puzzle Quest 2 is scheduled for a spring 2010 release from D3Publisher.

It will still use a match-3 gem game mechanic, mixed with role playing where players can choose to be a War Mage, Inquisitor, Barbarian, or Assassin.
