    Review: Zoo by Otsuichi

Truly one of the most enjoyable horror short story collections I have read in years, Otsuichi puts together fascinating tales of death that will horrify and shock you, yet you won’t be able to put the book down. Beginning with the title story in which a young man receives a photograph of his missing girlfriend, I read through the stories in succession. After the third story I realized that death would play a major role in each of the tales I would encounter. Some are gruesome and bloody stories of murders based on pure hatred or psychosis, while others come from the eyes of innocent children. One of the shorts, Song of the Sunny Spot, stands out from the others as the only story of death that is not as horrifying as the others. As the last man on earth getting ready to die, all he wants is a companion

Preparing for patch 3.3 in WoW

If you haven’t heard the rumors yet, Patch 3.3 may be hitting servers tomorrow in WoW. This patch will finally let players into Icecrown Citadel to battle against the Lich King and his remaining trusted elite. I previously talked about the 5-man dungeons in a preview as well as once we got some more details. Now that the PTR has been out for awhile many players have had the chance to check out these dungeons and get an idea on what these encounters will be like. I know that after I rolled a premade I enjoyed playing around in the new instances and was quite impressed. This patch will also bring to close the story of the Lich King for all of the Lore fans. I know that I’m excited to see how everything plays out both on the Horde side as well as Alliance as heroes going through the

Review: She-Ra, Princess of Power (Complete Collection)

Release Date: 24/06/2009 Languages: ENGLISH Genre: Animation, Classic Number of Discs: 18 Runtime: 2325.0 mins The 80′s classic “She-Ra Princess of Power” is one of my most favourite childhood memories. I remember wanting to be just like her. I also remember once subjecting my then 16-year-old step-cousin into being my Swift Wind while I was riding piggyback as She-Ra, brandishing my stick “sword”. He didn’t appear to mind, but still I feel bad for him now! For those who need an introduction, She-Ra is a female warrior with super-strength. She has a talking flying unicorn named Swift Wind as her steed and ally. They are fighters in a rebel movement (named “The Great Rebellion”) which is aimed at freeing the planet Etheria from the clutches of the evil Horde. She-Ra is actually a transformation of a Princess named Adora who was kidnapped at birth from Eternia. Eternia is in another

New Mass Effect Engineer class trailer

Today we have a trailer for the Engineer class which is available in Mass Effect 2. The are the only class that can employ combat drones on the battlefield and they can also hack mechanized opponents. Christina Norma told IGN ,”We wanted playing the engineer to have a unique feel to it,” Norman told the site. “We designed the Engineer to play as a more strategic, less brute force, class. Perhaps the most strategic move an Engineer can make is using his powers to gain strength in numbers via Combat Drone and AI Hack. “Combat Drone is a new power that only Engineers get. When you summon a combat drone it will harass enemies, drawing fire away from you, and knocking enemies out of cover. Your combat drone can die, but you can summon a new one every few seconds. Smart engineers will make sure they always have a combat
