BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger coming to Australia and New Zealand!

blazblue1257381949Today N3V Games and All Interactive Entertainment have announced that they will be bringing BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger to Australia and New Zealand for the Xbox 360 and PS3 systems! BlazBlue has already been a hit in Japan and North America with many positive reviews. Some even say that BlazBlue is a “game that every self-respecting console fighting fan should play.”

For those not familiar, BlazBlue is a 2D fighting game that has nicely drawn characters, and the game uses a lot of the next gen power. There is also a great online play so that you can compete against other players and test out your skills. The PAL version of the game will be compatible with US and Japanese players, which is great for those who are all about the online play.

“We have a fantastic line-up going forward into Christmas and are starting the first half of 2010 aggressive with 3 monster titles with BlazBlue being one of them!” said Paul Olsen, production head at N3V Games. “The Zen titles are a welcome addition to N3V’s line-up and we will be working very closely with them to make all their releases a great success. We have big plans for BlazBlue upon release that I’m positive all the OZ gamers out there will enjoy – so keep up to date via our website and the BlazBlue Australian site which will be active come December.”

This is great news for Aussie and New Zealand gamers who have been wanting to play the series! Hopefully we will hear more about release dates and the website soon!
