Natalie Portman has figured it’s time for her to take on zombies. She will also be taking on Jane Austen at the same time.

Variety.com reports that Portman is going to star in and produce a film based on the book, “Pride and Prejudice and Zombies”.

The book is by Seth Grahame-Smith where he takes the Jane Austin classic and adds some flesh eating zombies for the sisters to kill.

The film is slated for a 2011 release so you have until then to go and read the book. It’s very funny and you have to love zombies appearing at a ball and everyone freaking out and the group of sisters attacking.
